CIVL 101.7 FM at UFV in Abbotsford invites you to participate in the next project funded by the Community Radio Fund of Canada. The CRFC’s $50,000 grant is aimed at providing accessible training and sustainable engagement to Fraser Valley community members interested in participating in media. Two workshop presenters kick off this initiative.

Hired to coordinate this project is Gordon Katic of Cited, a syndicated program based out of CiTR 101.9 FM at UBC. Gordon will be at CIVL Monday, January 30th starting at 10 am to discuss any questions participants have about this project. Reach him via mini-school@civl.ca

What? Radio Mini School: Become a student of the radio mini school, and you’ll attend a half-day workshop with leading producers, receive hands on mentorship in developing your own radio piece, and then hear that piece play live on CIVL 101.7 FM. How much does this amazing program cost? Nothing!

We pay you between $250-500.
