CIVL Radio is pleased to report that though pledges are still coming in, and the count goes on, after a $700 + silent auction, a sold out Gala event at The Reach Gallery and Museum with You Say Party, Oh No! Yoko, Little Wild, The New Atlas, Casey Ambrose and The Parish of Little Clifton, as well as our #CIVLBattle, Punjabi Poetry Reading at the Khalsa Diwan Society, and the very first CIVL Drive-In Movie heard live on 101.7 FM, we’ve demolished our stretch goal of $10,000, and as of today have cruised over the $12,000 mark in funds raised to Amplify Your Community!

CIVL FUNDRAISING DRIVE COMING UP!!!

Our first Fundraising Drive is on the horizon. It’s going to be awesome. Events include the final Battle of the Bands, a Punjabi Poetry Reading. Drive-In Theater featuring Vancouver skateboarding documentary Hicks on Sticks, and Friday July 19th will be a fundraising gala show at The Reach gallery with You Say Party‘s first local performance in years, along with emerging singer songwriter Casey Ambrose. Jam in Jubilee 2011!

Jam in Jubilee 2011 is just around the corner! Starting Thursday, July 7th, Jubilee Park in Old Downtown Abbotsford will be host to music, arts, and vendors every Thursday evening through August 11th!
