Student Fee Radio — January – May 2014 — $10,000
CIVL hired former UFV Cascade Student Newspaper news editor Paul Brammer to research, program and host a program devoted to engaging students on the issues of the funds they spend on their post-secondary education, and how it’s spent within the institution. IHeartLatinAmerica‘s Julia Hodgins performed statistical analysis and inquiry via the my.ufv.ca portal which provided each of the 9,000 some-odd UFV students that semester with the opportunity to respond to survey questions aimed at identifying which students value what services and why.
This program was awarded an honourable mention at the 2014 National Campus and Community Radio Awards in the category of Current Affairs/Magazine.
